Solo Performance reflection
1. What are you enjoying about Music so far?
What I'm enjoying in music so far is that you can pick your own type of music e.g if I play piano I can choose any song. I also enjoy playing new songs and making it so i can improve more.
2. Which song did you perform and why?
The song i performed was 'A million dreams' from the movie 'The Greatest Showman'
3. What did you find challenging?
What I find challenging is keep playing on time and the dynamics on certain notes.
4. What did you enjoy the most playing this song?
The chorus because it gave the song more effect. It also indicated all the dynamics from each note.
5. What was your grade? were you happy with it?
I got a Merit, and I'm all good with it coz the song I was playing wasn't actually on my level. I had heaps of doubt if I could do it or now. But that's why practicing the song was worth it and I enjoyed playing it coz not only I love playing but I also love hearing the song.
6. Ideas for next song?
The song I'm learning in my piano lessons.

Thoth (God of the Moon, Magic and Writing) Ancient Egyptians
In Social Studies, My class 10Mn had to pick a God of Egypt (All different, cannot be the same) and we needed to do a poster about him/her.
In this poster, it tell's you information about the God I chose, Thoth.
He is the god of the moon, magic and writing. What I found interesting about him is that the tale books about Thoth can teach a person and led the person to become the most powerful magician in the world.

Group Performance Evaluation
I joined two groups for my performance. My 1st group was with Tyrepa & Manuwa and my 2nd group was with Tyrepa, Samson, Peteli & Rapture. I played the drums on my 1st group performance and for my 2nd performance I played the bass.
With all my performances I had a Merit.
To be really honest I was aiming for Excellence but I didn't mind getting a merit, I'm kinda happy because this is only term 1 and I can learn new things and work towards excellence.
What I find challenging when I work with a group is to stay on time with them. Others might be going too fast while the others are slowing down or even if they are on time I have bad hearing so I find it hard to keep on time. But it's all good because I can just make the rhythm in my head to help me stay on time.
What I enjoyed most about this task is making music with the people I enjoy making it with. Each of us are really talented and knowing that we can get along with each other helps me to be more confidence in showing more of my talent. If one of us mucks up we help each other out. I also enjoyed it because we had heaps of laughs and we were struggling but we made it through and I'm happy with with the grades I got.

The Two Artists who Inspires me
In music we have to create a DLO of the two artist who inspires us in Music.
Here are my two artist who inspires me in Music.

What are yous doing that is challenging:
Me and my group challenged ourselves to pick a song we haven't played before or know it.
My goal:
My Goal is to try and be on time with others, and to get excellence
1. Your song choice
My group chose the song called 'Breakaway' by Kelly Clarkson, because we've never heard of it and we decided to challenge ourselves by learning a song we've never played before 0r sang before.
2. Who are you working with and what are each person doing?
Manuwa & Tyrepa
Manuwa has the skill to sing, so she's singing.
Tyrepa is playing guitar because the song sounds real nice with a guitar
My instrument:
My group wants me to play the drums because the song we decided to all play has a lot of drumming.
Drums maybe the oldest instrument of man kind, back to the time where people learned to keep rhythm, and was bought into the word as far back as 6000 BC.
Drums have been found in China which goes back to ancient times. Originally they were made in ancient Turkey or China, but were also used in Israel and Egypt.
3.What is the song about (research it ) and find out the original composer:
Originally it was written by Avril Lavigne which she worked on with professional songwriters Matthew Gerard and B. Beneate. It was meant to be for Lavigne's second album 'Under my skin' but she didn't think it would fit the album so she let Clarkson record it as a single. The song was so good that at the last minute, Clarkson's second album was renames 'Breakaway'.
The song is about breaking away from an old life and trying new things. Some may even know it as a song about growing up, and that could be true in a way, but it is mostly about forgetting about your past and moving on by starting a fresh new start, becoming a new person. The theme came in thought from Clarkson, who could relate to the lyrics.

The film 'I, robot'
Did you enjoy the film? why/why not?
I really enjoyed watching the film because it had a lot of interesting scene. I also because the film technique the directer was using shows me what a person is like or what their feelings are.
Who was your favourite and least favourite character and why?
What did you think of the ending?
My favourite character of the film is Detective Del Spooner ( Will Smith ) because he's funny and he does a lot of action scene and also he had a very emotional story in the past which explained why he didn't like robots before. He had this robot arm that helps him fight and it's very cool, and he's the main character.
I don't have a least favourite character because they all have purpose in the film and it connects the movie together. Also I like all the characters because I enjoed them all.
How would you have ended it differently?

We are going to sing say something by a great big world featuring Christina Aguilar.We chose this song because it is a song that is very close to our heart,and is very emotional.We also chose it because we all know it.
2. Who are you working with and what are each person doing?
We have a group of 3 which includes Tyrepa, Selepa & Manawa.
Tyrepa will be playing the guitar and singing, Selepa will be doing the drums and might harmonise and Manawa will be singing with Tyrepa.
