Te-Tirity-O-Waitangi

In English, we were told to read the comic book that was shared with us in our drive by our teacher. It's called Te-Tiriti-O-Waitangi. How the treaty of Waitangi was signed. How we are all here today.  How the Maori's and the Pakeha's are integrated. After reading it, we had to answer the questions that was sent through email from our teacher, and put it in Canva or Piktochart. I chose to put my questions and answers in Canva.

Persuasive Writing Questions

In English, my class had to answer 4 questions that was sent from our teacher through email about writing a class essay.
The 4 questions are....
What did I learn from the class persuasive essay we did?
Why did we do it as a class?
What will I do in my persuasive writing next time to make it even better?
and lastly, What questions do I still have about persuasive writing?
We were told to either create a Piktochart or Canva to write our answers in. I chose Canva because I like the layout of it. Press the image above to read my answers.

The Growing NZ Innovation Chanllange

Introduction
At the start of Term 3, we were put into groups in threes and our teacher set us a task to pick which challenge we should solve. Each group have chosen different challenges and we all have to make a presentation about it. My group Me, Selena and Hillary chose 'How to save water for a severe drought'. Straight after that, we went on our Chromebooks/computers and started some research about where farmers get their water from. We can use different sites to create our presentation and we had to include two different types of enablers. My group chose to use the site called 'MySimpleShow' to explain how we are going to save water for a severe drought and used Network & Sensors and Irrigation system for our enablers. We also created a slideshow to show the class what we've been up to and to put our link of Mysimpleshow we made. Our solution was to have a huge tank with a roof that can open and shut. The roof will open to let the rain go in and once it's reached the amount of water we need it will automatically close, using a tablet Bluetooth onto the farmers phone.

Click HERE to check out our simpleshow of our solution so I wouldn't have to explain it.
And here is the image we created using the site called 'Tinkercad', we haven't quite finished but at least we finished our video.

My Reflection
What I've learnt while making our presentation is that, planning a solution is actually pretty hard. To be honest, I though it was going to be easy and I was looking forward to do it, but then once I hopped on the computer and was told what to include in our presentation, I was like "Bruh, explain that again please" We got to the point where we have to do our finishing touches, we were actual worried because we haven't thought it through of what enablers we should use. But later that night, Me and Selena had the effort to finish it off and chose Irrigation system and Network & Sensors for our enablers. I felt so happy because I stopped worrying. It's a feeling when you perform on stage with stage fright, but once it's over everyone cheered for you and you felt good.
When we performed me and Selena thought we hadn't done enough but looking at everyone's work it's pretty much similar, just with different ideas and different ways of presenting. We all had good compliments and feedback from the teacher which was a great feeling. Each group have to write feedback to the group who is presenting, but not allowed to feedback themselves.
Next time, If I do something like this, since I've experienced it, I'm gonna try harder.
