ACTION TAKEN?	Yes
OUTCOME?	On the 27th of November, we baked some treats and sold theme at the beginning of lunchtime, but since we made only a little bit, we only made $15 dollars, but we’re also planning to do another fund raise.
ENABLERS?	That Chloe asked Miss Taylor if we could bake treats using her baking room, if it wasn’t for her wouldn’t make anything.
DISABLES?	That none of us persuade people to come and buy our treats, that’s probably one of the reasons why we didn't make enough money, and the other thing was, we sort the table right beside the tuck shop, and of course they also sell food, so that’s another reason why?
REFLECTION	That we need to persuade more people to buy our treats, and think out of the box what would the students want to eat for lunchtime.

Collecting all the clothes around the school, and the schools outside of this school. Then hand it over to the city mission. When we are going to the city mission, the lady that works there is going to show us around	Give the school a reminder e.g a poster so they can remember to bring in the clothes that is left around their house so that we could collect them. Being polite to the people that goes to city mission/people who works there.	If we go collecting clothes and there's barely any clothes that has been handed in, it's ok, we can try and get some from our families and ask if they have spare clothes. Me and my group isn’t sure on what our action is. So we need to achieve on what we’re doing on our action. Making sure if we’re all in to it and if we all agree on what our action is	By working together and bringing all our ideas together. After figuring out what our action is, we show it to our teacher if they have any feedback to it. Actions we picked: :carwash :Fun day(fair) :Pet day :Making christmas food/clothes/decoration to the homeless	We will actually make a doc and share it to our group, then we can decide on which idea is best. Talk to  MS taylor about using her cooking room to cook for Homeless and asking Mr sutton to leave school to take food to homeless shelter	Ask our Deen and Mr aitken if we are allowed to leave PBL to do what we need to. It's his final lap. He's far from the others, he can feel the 16 degree sun burning his body. He’s riding on the road getting ready to blast like the wind, trying to paddle fast, feeling his calve muscles burning But his mind says don't give up. As he meets the sideline of the road, he leans on his side getting ready to turn as he thinks it’s time to make his move not worrying about others but himself, he pedals and pedals making his way towards the finish line... ‘RIP’ goes the ribbon as he sees the flashes from the people’s cameras taking photo’s feeling exasperated. “I won’t”. He says.

Finally he got off his bike, he feels so mirthful he had finished the race, drinking icy water made him feel like it was 10 degree. He can see the people at the sideline, feeling surprised that there were hundreds of people supporting him. When he was on the bike, he wanted to give up, he was tired and angry that the race was still going. As soon as he past the finish line, wow he would plan to go home, take a long cool bath and obviously taking a long nap.

We needed to pick a image the teacher send us, and make up a story behind it/about it.

English: The difference between a metaphor and a similarity

In English, we had a go looking at Metaphor and a similarity, what's the difference between them.

Similarity
 A similarity are "Like" or "As".
Here's a sentence for you
"This sandwich tastes like heaven"     or
"This day was hot as hell"

Metaphor
But a metaphor is something that really happened. E.g, the word "Literally"
Here's a sentence
"I Literally just kicked my friends ball over the fence"   or the word legit
I legit punched Leilani on the face"

Science experience

In science me and my group took out our bugs presentation from the experience we did before, and we looked at it. We looked at our bugs through the telescope, because it was so small we don't know if it's dirt or not. 
When we looked through the telescope we could see bunch of different types of bugs that no other group could find. We saw little white worms, they're not earth worms. After that, we put them in a safe place.

In art we had to pick some flowers from outside, and draw it out by using our stylisation.
Since I picked pacifica, I needed to draw some of the flowers straight.
Pacifica and Manga works well together, so I put some drawings of manga in it.

What Stylisation means to me

Stylisation means to simplify and reduce something down to find its 'essence'.

My favorite movement is pasifika because I really love the patterns and I'm really good at it. Especially because it relates to my culture.
What I want t do better at is to make my drawings smooth and no marks from rubbing to much. Knowing how to draw a proper face. My most inspiring image is These three:
 
The first image: I inspire this first image because I really love the different types of patterns and the colours to it, and maybe I could work on that if I do any of these patterns.

Second image: I really inspire this image because I really want to work on how to draw parts of your body and I want to learn how to draw an anime because I have heaps of childhood anime that I want draw

Third image: I honestly inspire this image because firstly I was born and I live in New Zealand.I would love to draw some of these because I really love the Maori culture and the patterns.

Soil erosion by Adi & Selepa

Soil erosion is a naturally occurring process that affects all landforms. In agriculture, soil erosion refers to the wearing away of a field's topsoil by the natural physical forces of water and wind or through forces associated with farming activities such as tillage.

What we  have learnt while doing this experiment was that the wind and moving water is the major causes of the erosion.

Maui and the fish

I think the story is trying to tell the young ones how the earth is made in there version. How Maui and his brothers were fishing and Maui made the land New Zealand .

I think the story is pretty cool because it fits in the reality . E.g Maui and his brothers were freezing cold, and they turned into huge solid rocks which were the mountains, and the tallest brother was the tallest mountain. Probably mount Averis.

I enjoy the story because it’s really interesting and there’s nothing negative about the story.

Me and my class had to read Maui and the son

I think the story is pretty interesting

I think it's interesting because they've made the story real REAL short but everything made scence. I also think it's funny because the animals attacked Maui and his brothers when they tried to fetch the son. The son was to big and is always up which why Maui wouldn't get enough sleep that's why Maui and his bothers were trying to get him.

I think I'm more like Maui because I always want the sun to go back to sleep so that I would go to sleep or else i'd be cranky.

My Crest

This week my class(9MN) were making our own crest in Social Studies.

We had to think about our family/culture and other things that are important to us.

We also had to write the meaning of each image and the colours that we drew/coloured in each of the boxes in our crest.

My Crests

What I have learnt about crest is that every crest has to represents the family/culture. The colour and the image needs to have a meaning to it.

While I was doing my crest, thought about my family, my culture, Where I live, my 2 favourite sports and my family as a christians.

Top Left

The top left represents my culture, where my family is from. My whole family is from Samoa, that’s why I drew a samoan flag at the top and the patterns.

Top Right

The top right represents my 2 favourite sports. Rugby League & Basketball. I chose to draw my 2 favourite sports because everyone should have fun playing sports even know you’re bad at it.

Bottom Left

The bottom left represents where I live and was born. Christchurch is one of my favourite place to live in because of the nice fresh air, the animals and the colours too.

Bottom Right

The bottom right represents me & my family as christians. We go to church every Sunday unless there’s a distraction or a celebration or a family thing.
